Statement on Fake Websites and Fraudulent Activities carried out by Impersonating Staff Members of Our Publication

Recently, our journal has received a report that some lawbreakers have been luring authors to submit their works by impersonating the website or submission channels of the Forest Engineering journal and posing as our editorial staff, while demanding page charges, download fees, etc., to seek improper benefits. This behavior seriously damages the reputation of Forest Engineering and the rights and interests of the majority of contributors. For this reason, our publication solemnly declares as follows:

1. The only official website of the Forest Engineering editorial department is https://slgc.nefu.edu.cn. When submitting articles through various search engines searching for the forest engineering website, please enhance your awareness of prevention and be cautious in identifying counterfeit websites.

2.Forest engineering contribute only platform address for https://slgcauthor.manuscriptcloud.com/login, contributors can also through the journal's website "author contributions" into the submission system.

3.The wechat account name of our journal is "Forest Engineering", the wechat ID is "senlgc", and the official account verification subject is "Northeast Forestry University".

4.After submission to Forest Engineering, all manuscript procedures, including notifications for payment of page charges, will be sent to our official email address senlgc@126.com. All activities that charge review fees or page charges under the pretext of expedited review, providing review comments, or quick publication are illegal and fraudulent.

5.After the article is officially published, it will be available for free download in full on our journal's homepage. At the same time, database platforms such as China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) will also simultaneously release the full text for paid download. Any act of adding authors through illegal emails or other wechat accounts and demanding fees is considered false fraud.

Our journal actively participates in the special rectification campaign against counterfeit academic journal websites, cooperates with relevant national departments to crack down on illegal activities, and regularly provides the list of false websites to relevant units, safeguarding its own rights and interests through legal means.
